Hi there! I’m Tessa Wendell, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I joined The Holistic Counseling Center in 2023 and I am supervised by Kim Burris, LMFT #98927.

I offer a holistic and compassionate approach to psychotherapy, and work with adults, teens, couples and mothers who struggle with: Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Satisfaction, Trauma, Self-Esteem, Spirituality, Emotional Regulation, Boundaries, and Postpartum Depression + Anxiety.

If you’re looking to transform your relationship with yourself and your struggles, I’d be honored to support you. I offer integrative psychotherapy that honors the mind-body-spirit connection to help you stop repeating your past, so you can finally create a life you love.

I am warm, intuitive, and truly believe in the power and process of therapy to help you heal and find wholeness within yourself.

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and my Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University.

When I’m not sitting with clients you can find me spending quality time with my family, silversmithing, enjoying the outdoors, and trying to find the best pizza! 

I am currently accepting new clients for in-person therapy at our El Dorado Hills location (just minutes from Folsom) with evening appointments available. I also provide virtual counseling to residents of California.
