I'm Anna Rivett, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California passionate about helping you overcome your obstacles, reconnect with your inner guidance, and build a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and powerful. If you're searching for a therapist who honors the mind-body-spirit connection and you're ready to transform, I'm here to support you.

I offer holistic psychotherapy in El Dorado Hills, CA and online for adults, teens, and couples seeking support with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationships, and spiritual growth. 

My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from depth psychology, clinical hypnotherapy, Jungian dreamwork, IFS, EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and expressive arts to create a therapeutic experience that's as unique as you are.

What makes my approach unique:

As both a Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT), I combine the insight of Jungian psychology with the depth and power of the subconscious mind. I believe that symptoms like anxiety, depression, and relational patterns are often expressions of a deeper imbalance, and that you hold an innate capacity for healing. 

I also bring a rich background as an artist, Montessori educator, and yoga and meditation teacher, which deeply informs how I work. I see every person as a unique universe to discover, and I bring that same spirit of curiosity and deep respect into our work together. 

Whether we're working with your dreams, art, meditation, movement, or more traditional talk therapy, every session is designed to offer insight, guidance, and meaningful tools you can start using in your everyday life.

My Background:

I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University, a degree in Integral Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and studied Comparative Literature at The Colorado College. 

Beyond the therapy room:

When I'm not in session, I enjoy immersing myself in the beauty of nature.  I find my greatest joy with family and friends, and I find renewal with yoga and meditation.  I'm passionate about healing, creativity, and the beauty of relationships.  

I'm supervised by Kim Burris, LMFT #98927, and committed to providing you with exceptional holistic mental health care.

I currently offer in-person therapy in El Dorado Hills and San Anselmo, as well as virtual sessions throughout California. I am accepting new clients with daytime and evening availability.
